The park is found around the Lake Naivasha and is home to a very spectacular and diverse species of birds. At an altitude of 1,890 metres, Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes and is unique in many ways. It is located 80 kilometers south of the Equator and 100 kilometers North West of Nairobi.
